Celebrate National Toasted Marshmallow Day August 30 with New Stuffed Puffs S’Mores

California-based vegan snack company Modern Pop is another fall treat. The company recently launched of its new avocado ice cream bars in three flavors: Chocolate Oh Fudge, Mint Trip, and Cookies n’ Dream. The company was founded by married couple Brad and Julie Podolec, who were looking to bridge the gap for a fruit-based, low-sugar, vegan snack for their 3-year-old.
The inspiration to use avocado in a frozen dessert bar came when “it dawned on us that avocado—a fruit—could serve as a base for a line of more traditional ice cream type flavors.” These low-calorie snacks are ideal for consumers looking for non-dairy, fruit-based ice cream bars to enjoy in the hot and humid summer months.
