Everything’s Coming Up Mainstream with Ancient Rosewater
One of our most fragrant summer flowers, the rose, ushers in a wonderful change of season as we begin to catch the floral scent on light breezes through open windows, from front porch swings and, of course, sitting out on back patios. This summer, bring the fragrance of rose into your home with Rose Water from Nielsen-Massey Vanillas:
- Use Rose Water as a skin refresher. Dab Rose Water on a cotton ball and apply to a freshly-washed face after a long day of working in the garden. The natural astringent properties keep skin gleaming and youthful. Rose Water can also be added to warm bath water for a pampering stress-reliever.
- Add a small amount of Rose Water to the water in an iron to lightly freshen laundry. The light scent will keep you energized and motivated throughout your day.
- Mix Rose Water into a seasonal cocktail for a refreshing way to wind down the day. Strawberry Rose Mojitos, recipe below, combine fragrant Rose Water with flavorful strawberries, fresh mint and bright limes for a taste of summer in a glass. Visit
